Taking place on October 4th, 2025, at Silver Springs Park in Yorkville, IL, 10 am start time. This 5K is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community, inclusion, and the power of support and love.
About ABC’s Across the Spectrum 5K
ABC’s Across the Spectrum 5K was created by ABC Therapy Clinics, a local family owned ABA clinic committed to providing therapy services to children with autism. This event is designed to bring together people of all ages to participate in a day full of fun, fitness, and awareness. Whether you’re running, walking, or participating with a stroller, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!
Our Mission
At ABC Therapy Clinics, we believe in the power of inclusivity and community. Our mission is to provide every child with the individualized care they deserve and to help break down the barriers for families who navigate life with autism. Through this 5K, we aim to bring people together, celebrate the achievements of the neurodiverse community, and fund initiatives that directly impact the lives of families across the spectrum.
The Cause
The goal of this 5K is to raise funds for Autism Hero Project, an organization dedicated to supporting families who are touched by autism through programs, resources, and community initiatives. All event proceeds will directly benefit this amazing organization, helping to ensure that children and their families have the tools and support they need to thrive. AHP’s is a leader in influencing positive change in the public perception of autism and is driving diversity in our communities.

This event is open to participants of all abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or someone enjoying the day with your family, we encourage you to come out and show your support. We are excited to offer something for everyone, including a race course with a beautiful view.
